Beenen CPA is individually-owned and operated right here in Grand Rapids, MI. Every client is given individual attention by experienced personnel. We offer excellent service that comes with a personal touch.

Our expertise ranges from basic tax planning and preparation for individuals, small businesses and estates and trusts to non-profit all breed and speciality dog clubs and ballot tabulation.

Our Team

Linda C Beenen CPA CFP® MST

Lin has worked in accounting and taxation since 1997, She worked at CPA firms assisting in accounting, auditing, and tax planning and preparation. In 2002 she earned her Masters of Science in Taxation at Grand Valley State University and in 2005 became a Certified Financial Planner.

Community service includes treasurer for the Rottweiler Health Foundation. She served in board positions for the Grand Rapids Kennel Club and the American Rottweiler Club as well as past treasurer for church and Flat River Outreach Ministries.

Janna J Bayle

Janna's background is in accounting. She is dual degreed. She has a Bachelor's Degree in both Accounting from Davenport University and also in Human Resources from Michigan State University. Janna has extensive experience managing accounting systems, budget and cash flow planning, product profitability, efficiency reporting, process documentation and financial analysis.

Community service includes past PTO treasurer, Girl Scout Leader, numerous committees and parent volunteer for Forest Hills Public Schools, Grand Rapids Public Schools and Kent Innovation HS. In addition, she served in various board and chair positions for Paws Unlimited Dog Training Club and the Grand Rapids Kennel Club.

Carrie Ahlers

Carrie has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with minors in Management and Communications from Central Michigan University. She has a Masters in Counseling from Central Michigan University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She worked at a non profit as a Family Services Supervisor in charge of a variety of family programs in five counties in mid Michigan. She later worked for ARGI Financial Group as a Client Services Assistant and Receptionist.

Community service includes Girl Scout Leader, PTO secretary, Project Charlie Facilitator and numerous committees and parent volunteer for Forest Hills Public Schools. In addition she has volunteered at many church events and committees throughout the years, as well as Kids Food Basket.
